  • Custom Headlights again

I am trying to put projector headlights without the flip up on my 93 sc2 i found some 240sx projectors and was wondering has anyone ever tried to make some like that work?

not sure about 240's, but I know some people had fit 300ZX lights in there. the hard part was aiming them properly and getting them to look like they fit right at the same time.

        nifty.

IMO it'd look better if it wasn't black but matched the body, but still pretty cool.

It looks like the guy whose cardomain is referenced here made a custom set, which I would have to recommend doing if you were to do this. IIRC the guys who used 300ZX lights absolutely couldn't get them aligned correctly. 'Sides, they look a little off because they don't quite match the contours of the SC2 body.

most yes, but one guy trimmed the panels or something and got them straight and filled in the gap between the mid nose and the lenses

Well... its different looking. The 1st gen SC nose is an oddball, almost anything else looks out of place. If I were to do somthing like that I'd probably try and do somthing "NSX" style. The contour of the nose of those cars are damn near flat, and you could see what Acura/Honda did to compensate for it...

Gotta agree with that statement. They would look better if the black area was color matched to the body but would also look MUCH better if the lights were mounted flush or below the hood line. ....and of course, swapping off the '92-'94SC2 nose for a '95-'96SC2.

The 300Z conversion looked sweet in that 1G SC for sure, but the un-adjustable, crossed over beams, might be a slight problem at night lol.

I liked the eye lids but they were spaced to far apart and to small, but for a custom job I give him mad propps and really would like pics once it is painted the same as the body.
