Sc2 seats in a sl2

I was on cardomain and i saw a 93 sl2 with leather front and back seats from a 93 sc2. Does any one know if its a direct fit or could i just switch the brackets out??

fronts yes. i don't think the rears work though

Well could i just take the back seats out try to make them fit. How much different are the sizes

they'll swap over. You need the framerail under the seats, the seats themselves, and the seatbelts.

so can i use the framerails on my sl2 or do i need the ones from an sc2 and what about the backs or is that what you were talkin bout

the only thing different about the back seats is the plastick support thing under them

they'll clip right in just like the SL2 seats. If you want, just get the bottoms. The backs are the same as the sedans, just different material.

get the frame rails under the seats, and the lap belts as well

there is nothing a drill, duct tape and jbweld can't handle

the backs are not the same, on the sc's they are a bit more tapered I want to say toward the top, I've seen them in cars and you can see it looks a bit more narrow, but if you keep the sl tops and sc bottom it looks fine as long as they are the same style fabric

In the first gens, if you use the SL side bolsters then there will be no taper.
