• How would you refinish your alloys?

This is a poll/opinion thing. I'm going to refinish a set of our extra alloys, the OEM 94'-95' Sawtooh Alloys. I've got three results in mind:

1: Fully Polished (bead blasted and then a shitpot of wetsanding then polishing)
2: Restored (bead blasted and cleared either matte or gloss)
3: Painted (bead blasted, painted a shade of silver, and then probably cleared for the bling factor)

I had my '94-'95 Saw Tooths painted black.

I would go w/ a Flat Black! They would be HOT!

I'm keeping the face of mine polished and painting the inserts a graphite color. That right there looks hawt.

Haha. No flat black on this car. Its Maroon. My choices are all subtle changes to a normal OEM wheel. Although I suppose flat black alloys could pass as steelies in the sleeper department

As of now I am leaning toward going bead blasted with a gloss clearcoat, all for the sake of maitnence. A "raw" polished finish seems like a bitch to keep fresh.

if you take your time on the polishing to a near perfect finish it can last a fair amount of time between polishing. water will beed rather than stick and water spot the whole thing. I finished my polished rims about 2 weeks ago and they turned out amazing.
