  • Musty/Mildew smelling interior?

In the SC2 - it's MOSTLY obvious when the air is on, so I tried changing the air filter (is there no cabin air filter?)...didn't help. Nothing, that I can reach, seems/feels even a little moist inside the car. Put your nose in front of the air vent, and there's NO doubt about it - SOMETHING is stinking up the car, just can't nail it down.

The car sat for a while, I guess, before I bought it...I've had an "ant" issue (crawling around on top/inside), but I haven't ruled out the source being the tree in the front yard yet (g-f parks under it for shade) - could have something to do with the smell???

Any ideas of what to do, where to look...ANYTHING???

          bingo.

If the line is clear and dripping do this.

turn the blower fan on (NO A/C) and let it run like that for a good while, you may have some shit inside the case and that should dry it out and should help quite a bit.

if it still smells like mildew... build up in the ac vents... a little bleech pored down the air in side and left to evaporate will kill the mold that causes the stink... its at your own risk but i've done it with a few of the vehicles i purchased in the past and its done the trick
