    Dunno if anyone's interested, but the hydraulic hood lifts that some of us have on our ions are now available for you s-car guys. $80, and they're well made. really smooth operation, and a really easy install if youve got 45 minutes and a few simple tools.

      yeah, i remember people asking about them 7 or 8 months ago, when somebody was showing them off on an ion. i guess the company got enough requests to make it real!

          That's great! Now Omar doesn't have to use a step stool to open the hood. Omar, one thing I would do is tie a piece of rope to the hood so that you can pull it closed. [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/razz.gif[/img]

              I got them it in my car freaking awesome too. If you buy it I recomend getting two even though he recomends one. After opening my hood a kazillion times it is starting to flex on it and it looks weaker than when I first got it.

                you only get one? the ion kit came with two pistons. wonder why it's different for the s-cars?

                            you can buy a rivet gun at sears for around $12 i think.

                              oh. thats fine then. depending on my work schedule over the next few weeks i may look into one. i hate the stupid stock stick thing.
