• My new tires :)

So, I had my new tires put on yesterday. They are Fuzion ZRI 215/45Z17's .They ride really smooth, and are not loud at all. They had some pretty decent reviews, so I figured i'd give them a shot. Here are some pics of my old tires. . .Vinny, i'll be awaiting your comment

and yes, that is the belt showing through.

and here is one of the new tires.

I've heard that from some, I won't really mind the sound though. It will be hard to hear it over my SC, exaust, and system

by make noise do you mean like screeching when you turn too hard? Or like bumpy ride?

no like road noise of the treadpattern against the road, the tires on teh 17's had more noise than the 15's did

oh and rob, THANK GOD!!! guys his tires were so bad, I think I lectured him for about an hour when I was working on his car as to why it's dangerous lol

I think Linefire has those same tires actually, he's real happy with them.

yeah they make a little noise but I only hear it over my exhaust (and sterio) when I'm going over like a bridge or in close areas but traction is amazing since puting them on I haven't been able to break loose in turns which is freaking outstanding.

^^ that tire wear is typical with lowered suspension... mine were worse... if your shizzy is lowered have the TOW it out to the max limit on both sides.... your tires will be \ / instead of | | just a little but it makes the wear pattern not happen... also a strut tower brace will help keep them from cambering in while turning also reducing tire wear.... i got fuzions too... absolutely love them to death.

They are going to put it in, I figure, why the hell not. I had thought about having us do it, but I figured it would be difficult for us to do the reflash. I assume the other stuff is pretty easy.

Mine's not lowered (wish it was) and I have a strut tower brace (but that is relativly new) So far I love them things, I am excited to see how they handle in the rain, and in wet conditions.

WOW...That's hilarious...you just got them off at the right time...
actually I want to grab a set of the falken 615's when I am able to...otherwise I've heard good things about the general exclaims and the barum bravatis as far as bang for the buck. I have hankook k106 (16's on my winter wheels...haven't been home to get my stock rl wheels)they are decent but they chirp a lot. Much better in the rain no hydroplaning at all.

the 615's are going to wear crazy fast, and once they get past half tread are probably going to suck in the rain like their previous version
