    LoveBugs Pwned Me

    Hey, what can I get to take off these fuckers. I've scrubed and scrubed and still have some stuck on my hood. I know there is a bug and tar remover but just wanna know if there is something better or what would you guys recommend.

    acid gets them off lol, but if u dont get them off right away they will eat ur paint so if u waited before u tried to get them off u might as well try acid cuz thats whats inside them

        You might even want to try a clay bar. It's made to remove any deposits left on the paint. The big thing is to not let them sit on there too long. Like stated the acid in them will eat right through your paint

            If they are fresh, a woman at work was telling us that this Avon stuff called "Skin so soft" would remove them without harming the paint/clearcoat. I will ask her tomorrow to verify it, but I remember it because it sounded so odd.

              i noticed the other day i had alot on my front bumper, i scrubbed them off and then i waxed my car. Havnt really had that problem for a few days

                i dont worry about it on mine my bummper looks like shit neways lol and i have a replacment waiting for when i have $$$ for paint,

                the clay bars do wonders give it a try but it might be too late, but even if it ate into the paint it shoulndt cost too much to get it looking good as new, unless ur car is black then it will never look new, ever!

                      I cleaned the car after my long drive so they were fresh but I guess where they hit the car it has some leftover bug on it. I'm gonna wash it again tommorrow and then clay bar and wax it like 3 times on the front end. Damn you love bugs, damn you!!!!

                        There's also a product called "splat" that works really, really well. It has microorganisms in it that eat dead bugs & stuff and loosen them up - just spray and leave it sit for a couple minutes.



                        A funny side story related...

                        A friend of mine works in an auto parts store, and told me about/showed me on his car/gave me some of this stuff for christmas. Anyway, one day at work, he was showing the product to this pretty lady, and he accidentally told her that it contained microorgasms (instead of microorganisms). He quickly realized what he had said, but she was quicker, with her comment that she should take some home and spray her husband with it... lol

                          once when i used to work at KFC/Taco Bell
                          the total came up to 4.08, and i accidently said fornicate
                          that lady gave me the meanest look!
