quik question about seat swapping. will the harness underneathe the seat that goes to the seatbelt sensor be compatible with seats from different s-series? if not i'll probably just not plug it in but i wasn't sure if anyone knew. thx for da help.

should be... I would imagine the plug hasn't been changed over the years

if it did... then just splice it... it's only 2 wires

the front seats are reverse torx like 12 or sumtin

forgot to mention this.... whats involved with removing the seats?

Front Seats:

8mm socket to get the rails out of the car... and I think 10 or 13mm to remove the rails from the old seats... 2 in fron, 2 in back

unless your new seats come with the rails already on

Rear Seats:
1 Torx on the sides and lift out
the bottom part of the seat is kida ruff, there's 2 clips on the front, just lift & pull

i found a nice set of seats from a 96 SL2... i thought about the motor for a minuet too, its a dohc auto. only thing is that since the newer the seats look different... so if i get juust one its going to look funnny... if i get all 4 its going to be a pita.. although the guy is giving me a awesome deal.. $50 for just the front seat or $120 for all 4 seats if i remove them.

my front seat is shot. now i'm wondering if i can find a set of leather seats for the car... that'd be sweet. what years are compatible? will be going in a 94 sl1.
