    Ion Painted Headlights

    Before you start busting on me about being gay and painting the headlights, shut your mouths and listen to this shit:

    Props to the guy at Redlinforums.com that posted up the link for this project. In turn I'll post it here for those that want to do it.

    RL Forums Headlight Painting Walk Thru

    Mod Cost: $11.81 @ Walmart

    Supplies:
    2 pair of Rubber Gloves
    1 Roll: Blue Masking Tape
    1 Can: Krylon Fusion (Satin Black)
    I am going to be using some packets of Double Bubble Epoxy to seal if I have fogging problems.

    FIZZ CAN POWAH!!
    Full Disassembly
    Plastic Tabs Holding HL together
    Screw holding DTRL Piece to lens(after splitting)
    Main HL Piece (Painted)
    DTRL Piece in Lens (Painted)
    Final Assembly of all pieces post paint
    THE FINISHING MOVE!

    As soon as I get a digital camera, I'll provide photos on the car...all I have to say is it looks OEM and is sexy as fuck.

          looks good. I was a little skeptical about doing that to my car but I may consider it now. Looks better than I expected.

                  you need to get a digital camera somehow [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif[/img] i can barely make out what it looks like with the crap camera phone shots.... but im sure it looks nice.

                          I was considering VHT'ing the markers black. extending herr "eye shadow"

                          would make her appear to be a burlesque woman. =)

                            I really like how they came out on your car. I think the red paint helps show the contrast between the headlights and the rest of the car. I'm slowly leaning towards doing it to my car. The side markers are sticking out a little more now that you did the headlights.

                              Woah.....this would look sweet on The Target as well, but question. How much, if any does it lower the brightness of your headlights?
