    Deebs Build Saturn LL0 engine

Rod/Piston If I am not mistaken it raises the rod/stroke ratio and therefore reduces piston to cylinder friction and also a longer r/s ratio will decrease dwell, and decrease instantaneous piston speeds. That's what your after. High revs w/ less stress.. The only reason that the 99+ motors did not increase in power was due to more constrictive port design in the 3 gen heads. Stock pistons have oil ring issues, this can be remedied by drilling holes in the oil ring land, or buying aftermarket pisto...

3rd Gen SC2 SL2 Universal Window Switch Installation Guide

    Writeup courtesy of Megan SC2

(*please trace the leads with a multi-meter. just trying my untested leads could damage your control board.) My 2002 SC2 power window switches have stopped working, AGAIN! I've cleaned the contacts before which helped but was never a great solution. I never had a way to restore the eroded metal on the contacts, and without fixing the contacts cleaning them was pointless. And who wants to take these things apart again? NOT ME! ...

  • SAFCII Installation on Ion 2.2L (2003-2004)

SAFCII Installation on Ion 2.2L (2003-2004)

A'ight boys here it is. A (hopefully) good installation "manual" for putting the SAFC on the 2004 Ion Quad Coupe 2 - I make no guarantee this will work on any other model or year Ion. First off, you wire up the bitch to your stock ECM. Here's the wiring map I used: Note that the 'C1' block is the one that has "Delphi" stamped on it and is square in shape and closer to the driver's side / wheel of the car than the C2 block, rectangular in shape. There are a few things to note about the instal...

    ION Redline Oil Filter Removal

    1) jack up car to get under to remove the oil drain plug. (15mm i think, isnt that the normal size?) make sure you have an oil pan ready. 2)let that drain and get up and stand on the left side (driver side) And remove the 2 bolts holding the coolant filler neck at the front of the car off so I could move it outta the way. 3)with your left hand maneuver the 1 1/4" (32mm) socket under the supercharger. Takes a little finesse to get it on there. 3) look from the top down and insert at least a ...
